About Us

Blank Coffee Roaster represents the blank space between people—we just choose coffee to fill in that “blank.”

Our story began in Ipoh in August 2024, when BCR started out with small catering projects and pop-up events. From the very beginning, our focus was simple: to share the love and craft of coffee. Coffee became our way of connecting people, sparking conversations, and creating moments that mattered—“filling the blanks,” as we like to say.

By March 2025, Blank Coffee Roaster grew into a café, finally opening our doors for daily operations and walk-ins. Beyond serving our own guests, we also supply coffee to other cafés, and we welcome collaborations with those in need of coffee beans, training, and support to grow their craft.



Today, Blank Coffee Roaster continues to be part of Ipoh’s vibrant coffee scene. We take pride in being recognized as one of the city’s top roasters, actively joining coffee festivals, while also venturing into catering and events that bring people together over a cup of coffee.
