A Morning to Remember with Sem-Break Pickleball Club
On the morning of 22 November, we had the pleasure of partnering with Sem-Break Pickleball Club to host a special community social play session — a gathering fueled by good vibes, active movement, and of course, great coffee.
What started as a simple idea to give back to the community grew into a meaningful event that reminded us why Blank Coffee Roaster exists in the first place:
to connect people through shared experiences… and let coffee fill in the blank.
Bringing Two Communities Together
From 8am to 10am, players from all levels — first-timers, casual players, and regulars — came together for two hours of fun, laughter, and friendly rallies on the court. Sem-Break Pickleball Club led the entire flow of the morning, from registration to warm-ups to pairing players by experience. Their coaches and facilitators were incredible, guiding beginners, encouraging improvements, and making sure everyone felt welcomed.
We were deeply grateful to be part of this collaboration — and even more honored when the team surprised us with a custom event t-shirt printed with both our logos.
Fueling Play with Free Coffee
Blank Coffee Roaster served complimentary drinks throughout the morning, giving everyone a taste of what our coffee cart setup can offer at future events and private bookings.
From espresso-based coffees to refreshing brews perfect for a warm morning, players had no shortage of fuel.
It was also a great opportunity to showcase our mobile setup — a reminder that our coffee catering service is now open for bookings, whether it’s for sports events, corporate gatherings, weddings, or private occasions.
The Excitement of the Lucky Draw
One of the highlights of the day was our Lucky Draw Giveaway, where three very lucky participants walked away with our exclusive 1-Year Free Coffee Pass — a specially printed PVC card designed just for this event.
Seeing the joy (and disbelief!) on winners’ faces made the giveaway incredibly meaningful. It was our small way of saying thank you to a community that continuously supports us.
More Than a Game — A Lifestyle We Believe In
This event wasn’t just about pickleball or coffee.
It was about fostering a community that values both connection and a healthy lifestyle — a space where people meet, move, slow down, and enjoy the present moment together.
And this morning reminded us that our mission goes far beyond the cup.
Blank Coffee Roaster wants to build events, collaborations, and spaces where people come together — whether it’s over a latte, a rally on the court, or something new entirely.
What’s Next?
This was just the beginning.
We’re already exploring more collaborations, more ways to give back, and more ways to help the community experience coffee differently.
